Junior Pathway Race Development Summer Course

We are excited to be able to offer a three day intensive but fun Race Development course for youngsters aged 10-17 who are on, or aspire to be on the RYA Performance Pathway Programme. The course will be led by David Clarke, who is a RYA Level 3 Race Coach, supported by YDSC Level 2 Race Coaches.

Course Date: Mon – Wed 10th – 12th August 2026

Number of places: 12

Cost: Just £75

Participants are welcome to camp overnight at the club during the course but must be accompanied by a parent, or adult acting in loco parentis.
Priority will be given to those YDSC junior members already involved in the club’s Pathway training programme. Participants must hold at least RYA Stage 3, able to sail all points of sailing confidently and either have a bit of racing experience, or feel ready to move into racing. for further information about this course email the Training Principal, Erica Caswell at
