RYA Dinghy Instructor and Windsurfing Instructor Courses are offered at YDSC. There are paid courses open to all and result in an RYA qualification. Anyone is able to access these courses if you are a member of YDSC or another RYA affiliated club/centre, otherwise you need to join the club for a minimum of 3 months.
The Dinghy Instructor course is a 5 day course for people who are already experienced dinghy sailors who wish to learn how to teach sailing and become a qualified RYA Dinghy Instructor. Candidates must pass a Pre-entry Assessment of their personal sailing ability prior to the course and hold a valid First Aid certificate and RYA Powerboat Level 2. For further information contact .
