Risk Statement: It must be recognised that sailing is by its nature an unpredictable sport and therefore inherently involves an element of risk. By the participant taking part, you agree and acknowledge that:
(i) You are aware of the inherent element of risk involved in the sport and you accept responsibility exposing the participant to such inherent risk whilst taking part;
(ii) The participant will comply at all times with the instructions of the race officials particularly with regard to handling of boats, wearing of buoyancy aids/ helmets and suitable clothing for the conditions, and all other aspects of safety.
Data Privacy: The information given by you on this entry will be used by us to process your registration and for attending to your safety and welfare whilst you are at Yorkshire Dales SC. It will be managed in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy.
Photography: We may take photographs and video footage for use by us in connection with the promotion of the club and our activities and/or for training and feedback purposes. If you object to the use of these images please email the Club Sailing Secretary – .
Complaints: If you have any concerns about any aspect of the event please discuss them with the event officials at the earliest opportunity and we will do everything we can to meet your needs. If you wish to make a formal complaint please contact the Club Sailing Secretary – or Club Commodore
