Reed Bashing – Saturday 17th February 2024 @ 10am
Please come and help us and the wildlife. We have to do this to enable us to sail all year so please come and help. Please comment on the forthcoming Facebook post if you are coming and want lunch.
Spring Working Party – Saturday 9th March 2024
A great way to get to know how your club works, see the range of club windsurfing equipment available for hire, how to hire club boats, how to refuel Safety Boats and to get to meet and chat to other members. We will have indoor jobs, outside jobs and a free lunch for all volunteers. If you want to see your club in first class order, please give a few hours of your time and help to get set up for a great season. 10am start.
Windsurf Social – Saturday 13 April 2024
On Saturday 13 April 2024 we plan to have a windsurfing social evening with a dinner at the club followed by a windsurfing question and answer session with Olli Anderson [a professional windsurfing coach – that’s him above showing off in Kefalos!]. All club members, family and friends are welcome.
We also plan to have a second hand windsurfing kit sale on the patio of the clubhouse. More details will be posted on the YDSC Windsurf Facebook group. The sale is to start at 5pm followed by dinner at 6pm and Olli’s session at 7pm. I hope you can join us.
Tickets are subsidised by the club and cost £7.50 per head. Bookings close on Saturday 7 April to allow for catering.
Commodore’s Day – Saturday 6th July 2024
This is the main summer social day with lots of activities for all the family. More details nearer the time.
