Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club are very pleased to host the VAGO OPEN NORTH and CONTENDER OPEN at Grimwith Reservoir on 25^th & 26^th May.

Entries and Suggested Entry Donations

To help with planning and organisation please enter online below. Online entries will close at 14:00 on 23rd May 2024. The suggested entry donation (as we are a charity) for the event is £30 per single hander and £40 per double handerboat.

• Registration date – by 23^rd May
• Competitor briefing – 12:00 Saturday
• 1^st race not before 1pm Saturday. 4-6 races.

Other Key Information

Catering will be by the wonderful YDSC Galley, the foods at YDSC is excellent so bring an appetite!  The Galley will be open for breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We are currently planning evening meals for Saturday and Sunday based on registrations.  It is likely that we will have an evening meal on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday – one evening may be a bring your own BBQ.  There are also some great pubs and fish’n’chips in Grassington so we make sure everyone has food!

There is also a microwave, kettle and fridge available for visitors to use as well as tea/coffee and cakes on sale most of the time.

The bar will be open in the evenings until around 10pm.

There are also snacks and cool drinks vending machines available for use at other times.

Camping for motorhomes and tents is free (sorry, Yorkshire Water specify no caravans). Gates open at Friday 5pm and visitors should leave by 5pm Sunday 27^th.
