On occasion it is necessary to cancel an event for various reasons. We also understand it is sometimes necessary for a participant to cancel a entry. As virtually all events involve some committed costs, the policy for refunds for entries is as follows:
If the club cancels the event then participants will get a full refund.
If you cancel then the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation more than 2 weeks in advance of the start of the event – full refund
- Cancellation within 2 weeks of the start of the event – 50% refund
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the start of the event or unnotified non-attendance – no refund.

For events where entry is made through other providers such as the RYA, their terms and refund policy apply.
