Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club are very pleased to host the Spring Monkey Handicap Open Event at Grimwith Reservoir on 24/25/26 May 25.

Competitors may enter for 1, 2 or 3 days. Prizes will be awarded for each day plus an overall prize for those competing on all three days.

Entries and Suggested Entry Donations

To help with planning and organisation please enter online below. Online entries will close at 16.00hrs on 22 May 25. The suggested entry donation (as we are a charity) for the event is

Individual Days per boat: Single hander £15, Double hander £20
All three days: Single hander £37.50, Double hander £50

YDSC club member entry donations are covered by their membership donation, so no additional charge. Just use the discount code “ydscmember” at checkout.

• Saturday 11.00hrs

Competitor briefing

• Saturday 13.00hrs
• Sunday 10.00hrs
• Monday 10.00hrs

There will be up to 8 races in the series with the following warning signals and timings:

• Saturday 13.55hrs, 1 or 2 races back to back
• Sunday am 10.55hrs, 1 race
• Lunch
• Sunday pm not before 13.55hrs, 2 races back to back
• Monday am 10.55, 1 race
• Lunch
• Monday pm 13.55, 2 races back to back if time allows.

Other Key Information

The YDSC Galley will be open on Saturday am for breakfast butties and lunches. An evening meal on the Saturday and Sunday evening at 18.30. Details will be provided closer to the event.

Camping for motorhomes and tents is free (sorry, Yorkshire Water specify no caravans). Gates open at Friday 23 at 5pm and visitors should leave by 18.00 Monday 26 May.
